The ancient Wudang Mountain scenic spot is located at the foot of Taihang Mountain in the northwest of Wu'an city, Handan City, Hebei Province. Qinglan expressway, Taihang Mountain Expressway and 309 National Highway Cross at the edge of the scenic spot, extending in all directions. The ancient Wudang Mountain is recorded on the ancient stele of the Tang Dynasty at the top of the mountain. It is the famous Wudang Mountain in the north, which is long sought for the domestic Taoist circle by experts. Its history is earlier than other Wudang Mountains in China.

 

The main peak of the ancient Wudang Mountain is 1438 meters above sea level. There is Zhenwu temple, also known as Laoye temple, at the top of the peak. Zhenwu emperor, the God of Taoism, is enshrined in the temple. The green mountain contains Dai and blue water, which breeds the dense spirit of all things in the world. Taiji Culture and Taoist legends are permeated with the cultural connotation of thousands of years of customs, forming "one mountain (Laoye Mountain), two gods (Zhenwu emperor, Taiji Master Zhang Sanfeng), three jues (Taihang juepi, Taoist Jue, Wuji Jue Gong), four realms (sunrise, Jiyun, mountain sea, sunset), five Saints (Taoism, Taiji, health preservation, summer vacation), six peaks (unique mountain shape, six huge peaks connected to each other), seven colors (evergreen in four seasons, flowers in three seasons, seven colors of grass, seven colors of night scenery), eight wonders (eight unique wonders) ". It highlights the characteristics of "ancient, martial, cultural, strange and cool" and the personality of "healthy, nourishing and happy".

 

Here, you can see the sunrise as early as possible, the clouds as early as in the morning, the mountains and the sea as you can see in the afternoon, and the sunset as late as you can see. The mountain stands on the cloud, and the fog flows around the mountain. The magnificent scenery of the mountain and the soft and sentimental beauty of the cloud and mist are both obtained. It is like being in a picture, and the human landscape is inseparable. What's more amazing is the change of scenery in the four seasons. The folk saying is: plum blossom in February, peach in March, cherry blossom in April, locust in May, rose in June, red in July, walnut in August, chestnut in September, persimmon in October, red skin. Enjoy the snow at the end of the first year. All the year round, it seems that nature is waving a brush and painting layers of beautiful colors.
