Taoism was founded by the Tianshi of zhangdaoling in the Eastern Han Dynasty. More than 1800 years ago, zhangdaoling was the ancestor of Taoism, and the emperor taishanglaojun was the ancestor of Taoism, and the Yellow Emperor was the ancestor of Taoism. On the basis of the concept of ancient Chinese ghost worship, Zhang Daoling took Huang laodaojia's thought as the theoretical basis, and inherited the evolution of gods and magic since the Warring States period. At present, Taoism is divided into two schools, namely, Zhengyi school and Quanzhen school. The founder of Zhengyi school is Zhang Daoling, and the founder of Quanzhen school is Wang Chongyang. After Wang Chongyang founded Quanzhen Taoism, he received seven disciples, including Ma Danyang, sun Buer, Tan chuduan, Hao Datong, Wang Chuyi, Liu chuxuan and Qiu Chuji.
